Introducing Fuzhou National Forest Park
Also known as the Fuzhou Botanical Garden, the Fuzhou National Forest Park is one of the top 10 national forest parks in China. It is situated in the north suburb of Fuzhou, 7 kilometers from the downtown area. Covering an area of 2891 hectares, the AAAA Fuzhou National Forest Park is one of 10 largest forest parks in China and the first Forest Park in Fujian province.

What to expect at Fuzhou National Forest Park
The Fuzhou National Forest Park is home to over 3,000 species of rare plants, and several special botanical gardens have been set up, such as the Bamboo Appreciation, Tree Appreciation, Rare Plants, Cycad Garden, Banyan Garden, Peach Blossom Garden, Shady Plants Garden and etc. The Dragon Pond Scenic Zone, with a theme of forest ecotourism, is very appealing, while Fujian Forestry Museum can offer you forestry know-how and forestry achievements of Fujian. The Fuzhou National Forest Park is also equipped with abundant recreational facilities.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides and water on one side, the park features Chinese and exotic plants, rare animals, lakes, flowing waterfalls, unusual rocky outcrops and stone carvings. The area is divided into six sections: the bamboo section, trees section, cultural landscape section, dragon pool section, forest museum and bird forest.

• Take bus No. 54, 72, 84, 87, 328 or 527 to the park.
