Introducing Silver Cave
The Silver Cave is situated in Maling Town, Guilin. Occupying an area of 1,500mu, Silver Cave was opened to the public in 1999, and honored as one of “Guilin Model Tourist Scenic Spots”, it is in china categorized as one of the first AAAA Class National Scenic Areas and the largest karst cave in Guilin.

What to expect at Silver Cave
Travel in twelve hills, the Silver Cave a Karst formation cave consisting of three divisions, the upper cave, the grand hall and the ground cave. The Silver Cave presents tourists a variety of glamorous stalactites and stalagmentes formed indifferent geological periods, some as high as tens of meters, imposing, spectacular, mysterious and exquisite. Dozens of scenes with special features inside the cave vividly demonstrate nature’s craftsmanship, hence it’s renowned as “Wonder of the world”. It is named as Silver Cave because of its silver-like stalactites and stalagmites, radiating under the spotlights like diamonds and silver.
Surrounded by mountains, the Silver Cave Scenic Area looks a giant Bonsai garden, with peach trees dotted here and there. Xiaoqing and Chaozai hills stand erect abruptly from the ground; flowers here bloom all the year round and the barks of dogs suggest village life nearby; breath taking rock-climbing at the precipice and fishing by a boat in the lake are a common scene here. All these enchantments of the rural loves make you relaxed and happy. For this reason, this scenic area is called “Model Pastoral Homeland”.
How to get to Silver Cave
From Guilin
• Take a bus from Guilin General Bus Station to Lipu County and get off at Silver Cave.
From Yangshuo
• Take a tourist bus from Yangshuo Garden Management Office to Silver Cave directly.
