Begin your day at E’ling Park, a scenic green space offering panoramic views of the Yangtze River and the city skyline. Next, visit the Three Gorges Museum, located near the Great Hall of the People. This world-class museum showcases the history and culture of the Three Gorges region and Chongqing. Adjacent to the museum is the Great Hall of the People, an architectural marvel resembling the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This grand hall is used for political meetings and cultural events and is one of Chongqing’s iconic landmarks. Continue your tour with a visit to the Stilwell Museum, dedicated to General Joseph W. Stilwell, an American general who played a crucial role in China’s resistance against Japan during World War II. End your day at Ciqikou Ancient Town, a charming historic area known for its traditional architecture, teahouses, and vibrant street life.

Day 3 Wulong Karst Geopark

Relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as you enjoy the scenic 3-hour drive to Wulong County. Upon arrival, explore the Three Natural Bridges, a stunning series of limestone bridges formed naturally over time. These majestic arches are the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia. Stop by the Ancient Staging Post near Qinglong Bridge, constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). Next, visit the Qingkou Tiankeng Scenic Area, known for its unique karst landforms called “tiankeng” or sinkholes. Witness the park’s unique beauty as you delve into the heart of this natural wonder. Continue your journey to the Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a magnificent gap-style gorge that stretches for 5 kilometers.
