Day 2 Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Yuchang Building, Taxia Village

Embark on a captivating day trip from Xiamen to discover the unique and historic Tulou villages of Fujian Province. After a comfortable 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Xiamen to Nanjing County, arrive at the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This remarkable cluster features one square building, three circular buildings, and one oval building, earning its famous nickname “Four Dishes and One Soup.” Continue your journey to Yuchang Building, one of the oldest and largest round tulous in Fujian, dating back to around 1368. Admire its distinctive architecture, including the tilted pillars that lend it a charmingly “rickety” appearance. Finally, explore Taxia Village, a picturesque Hakka settlement renowned for its well-preserved traditional buildings and peaceful ambiance.

Day 3 Xiamen Museum, Huli Mountain Fort, Gulangyu Island

Kick off your morning with a visit to Xiamen Museum, where you’ll discover a fascinating collection of over 20,000 artifacts from Xiamen, Fujian, and Taiwan. Next, explore the historic Huli Mountain Fort, strategically located on Xiamen Island’s southern coast overlooking the Taiwan Strait. After lunch and salat prayer at the Xiamen Mosque, enjoy a scenic 10-minute ferry ride to Gulangyu, a charming island renowned for its beaches, picturesque lanes, and rich architectural heritage. Ascend Sunlight Rock for breathtaking panoramic views of the island and Xiamen. Take a leisurely stroll through Shuzhuang Garden, a serene oasis featuring bamboo forests, caves, and sea-view slopes. Don’t miss the Piano Museum, where you’ll discover fascinating exhibits on the history and culture of pianos, including a collection of over 100 models from around the world.

Day 4 Depart Xiamen
