Day 2 Sanxingdui Ruins, Wide & Narrow Alleys

Day 3 Chengdu City Highlights, Bullet Train to Xi’an

Start your day with an unforgettable encounter at Chengdu Panda Base, a world-renowned sanctuary dedicated to the preservation of these beloved creatures. Established in 1987, this non-profit facility recreates the pandas’ natural habitat with lush bamboo forests, sparkling streams, and tranquil ponds. Witness the enchanting spectacle of pandas of all ages as they frolic, feed, and nurture their young. After lunch and Salat prayer at Huangcheng Mosque, relax at Renmin Park and enjoy Chengdu’s leisurely lifestyle with a cup of tea at a local teahouse. In the afternoon, visit Wuhou Temple, an ancestral temple commemorating heroes from the state of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. End your day with a stroll along Jinli Ancient Street, a bustling street dating back to the Qin Dynasty. Admire the charming old buildings and explore diverse shops selling fascinating handicrafts. Take a bullet train to Xi’an (approx. 3.5 hours). 

Day 4 Terracotta Warriors, Xi’an City Highlights

Start your day with a wonder of the world – the Terracotta Army! Discovered by accident in 1974, this 2,000-year-old army of over 8,000 life-sized warriors stands guard over the tomb of Qin Shihuang, China’s first emperor. See some replicas being made nearby and learn the secrets of these ancient figures. Next, admire the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a massive burial mound built over 38 years. In the afternoon, head back to Xi’an and marvel at the towering Big Wild Goose Pagoda (outside view), a 1300-year-old wonder. Finally, immerse yourself in the vibrant ambiance of the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, a mesmerizing re-creation of ancient Xi’an, boasting bustling markets, enthralling performances, and stunning Tang-style architecture.

Day 5 Xi’an City Highlights, Depart Xi’an

Next, delve into Xian’s history at the Xi’an Museum, brimming with nearly 130,000 relics. After lunch, join the Salat prayer at the Great Mosque before exploring the vibrant Muslim Quarter. Lose yourself in its labyrinthine alleys overflowing with street food, restaurants, and the lively spirit of Xian’s 60,000-strong Muslim community.
