Day 1 Arrive Xi’an, Transfer to Hotel

Arrive in Xi’an at midnight. Upon arrival at the airport, your friendly Muslim expert guide will greet you and whisk you away in a private vehicle to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 2 Han Yangling Mausoleum, Qin Han Museum of the Shaanxi History Museum

Unwind at your hotel until noon. After prayer in your room, proceed to enjoy a delicious Halal lunch. Then, immerse yourself in Xi’an’s rich history by starting your exploration at the Qin Han Museum of the Shaanxi History Museum. This museum showcases the remarkable period from 221 BC, when China saw its first unification under the Qin Dynasty, to the Silk Road’s establishment during the subsequent Han Dynasty. Prepare to be amazed by the museum’s collection of 1,500 artifacts from this era, including an exhibition dedicated to the Silk Road. Afterwards, delve deeper into history with a visit to the Han Yangling Mausoleum. This fascinating archaeological site offers a unique window into the life and and death of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty who ruled China from 157 to 141 BC.

Day 3 Terracotta Warriors, Emperor Qin’s Mausoleum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City

Start your day with a wonder of the world – the Terracotta Army! Discovered by accident in 1974, this 2,000-year-old army of over 8,000 life-sized warriors stands guard over the tomb of Qin Shihuang, China’s first emperor. See some replicas being made nearby and learn the secrets of these ancient figures. Next, admire the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a massive burial mound built over 38 years. In the afternoon, head back to Xi’an and marvel at the towering Big Wild Goose Pagoda (outside view), a 1300-year-old wonder. Finally, immerse yourself in the vibrant ambiance of the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, a mesmerizing re-creation of ancient Xi’an, boasting bustling markets, enthralling performances, and stunning Tang-style architecture.

Day 4 Mount Huashan

Gear up for an epic adventure with a 1.5-hour drive to Mount Huashan. Famed as China’s most precipitous mountain, Huashan boasts sheer cliffs, rugged terrain, and a hair-raising path that winds up 2,000 feet. As one of China’s five sacred Taoist mountains, Huashan is steeped in legend. Whispers of gods performing magic, emperors offering worship, and Taoist forefathers leaving their spiritual mark echo through the ages. Soar to the West Peak by cable car and explore a Taoist temple nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs. Ascend to the mighty South Peak, Huashan’s highest point. Then, conquer the heart-pounding “Plank Walk in the Sky” – a true test of your bravery and a contender for the world’s most dangerous hike. Continue to the East Peak and back to the West Peak, savoring the breathtaking panoramas along the way. Finally, descend in comfort by cable car from the West Peak.

Day 5 City Wall, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi’an Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter, Depart Xi’an

Next, delve into Xian’s history at the Xi’an Museum, brimming with nearly 130,000 relics. After lunch, join the Salat prayer at the Great Mosque before exploring the vibrant Muslim Quarter. Lose yourself in its labyrinthine alleys overflowing with street food, restaurants, and the lively spirit of Xian’s 60,000-strong Muslim community.
