Day Trip to Wulong Karst Geological Park from Chongqing

Morning Pickup
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your downtown Chongqing hotel at around 8:30 AM. Relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as you enjoy the scenic 3-hour drive to Wulong County.

Three Natural Bridges
Upon arrival, explore the Three Natural Bridges, a stunning series of limestone bridges formed naturally over time. These majestic arches, including Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, are the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia. Marvel at the breathtaking views and capture the park’s extraordinary beauty at various overlooks.

Qingkou Tiankeng Scenic Area
Next, visit the Qingkou Tiankeng Scenic Area, known for its unique karst landforms called “tiankeng” or sinkholes. Witness the park’s unique beauty as you delve into the heart of this natural wonder.

Longshuixia Fissure Gorge
Continue your journey to the Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a magnificent gap-style gorge that stretches for 5 kilometers. Admire the stunning karst landscape, primitive forests, waterfalls, and springs as you trek through this awe-inspiring gorge.

Lunch Break
This tour does not include lunch. Please be aware that halal cuisine is not readily available at Wulong Karst Geopark. To avoid any inconvenience, we suggest bringing your lunch with you.

Ancient Staging Post
During your visit, stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). Explore the well-preserved wooden-structured courtyards with more than 20 rooms remaining.

Return to Chongqing
After a day filled with exploration and wonder, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Chongqing, arriving around 7:30 PM.
